I was in the process of removing patient 's cardiac electrodes and changing her patient gown when I got stuck by a sharp object on my middle finger of my right hand After further investigation we saw that her insulin needle pump had come out of her stomach and was caught in the wires beneath her gown and that was the sharp object that had pierced my finger
