Before the incident

Not a warehouse delivery ee Sales I arrived and Walmart 3537 ([REDACTED]) just after [REDACTED] [REDACTED] I checked in and processed to receiving to work our portion of the load Upon entering the back room i discovered that our truck was still unloading I then took a few minutes to get a cart and give the driver and receiver more time The wine was loaded chest high on a pallet in the middle of the metal dock another pallet with a single row of liquor was to its right with a space in between Upon finding a discrepancy in the wine invoice the driver and I proceeded to recount the cases using the invoice During this I moved around the pallet to identify cases I was in the space between the back of the truck and the pallet on the dock I step backwards to get a better look at bottom row of cases The dock extension was not extended into the back of the truck See picture 0035 As a result my right foot went into the gap between the dock and deck of the truck I fell until my right thigh filled
