On [REDACTED] at appx [REDACTED] the Carrier was approaching a house for a certified letter. A large dog broke from its leashed and lunged and leapt at the carrier. The carrier attempted to use his dog horn and was too close to get his back up. He attempted to back up and fell off the curb into the street. He struck his head on the asphalt resulting in a concussion.
