What happened
City carrier while delivering his assigned route of [REDACTED] had a slip trip [REDACTED] incident at [REDACTED] resulting in lower leg ankle injury. Carrier states after completing the delivery at [REDACTED] he cut across the lawn where he slipped in the wet grass and mud down a small embankment to the sidewalk. Carrier described when his foot landed it inverted and twisted he felt a sharp and extreme pain and heard a “crunching” sound. He stated he attempted to stand and “hobble” back to his truck but was unable.
