carrier was delivering to [REDACTED] there was a beware of dog sign on the property the carrier stated she rattled the gate and the dog did not appear however once the carrier entered the yard the dog appeared on the porch. carrier stated once she seen the dog the dog started charging at her. The carrier stated once the dog started charging at her she threw the mail at the dog and ran and jumped in the chair (that was in the yard ) in an effort to hop over the fence once the carrier hopped over the fence she landed hard on her left side.
