What happened
CARRIER WAS COMPLETING PARK AND LOOP RELAY. CARRIER WARNED ME OF ACTUAL DOG AT [REDACTED] PRIOR TO ACTUAL DELIVERY FOR ADDRESS. CARRIER WAS MAKING DELIVERY TO HOUSE PRIOR TO DELIVERY. WE BOTH WALKED BEHIND THEIR DURANGO WHICH WAS BETWEEN FENCE WHICH CONTAINED THE DOG AND US (CARRIER AND SUPERVISOR). AS WE ROUNDED THE CORNER AND WALKED UP ON THE GRASS APPROACHED FRONT PORCH FOR DELIVERY. CARRIERS HAND WAS IN THE MAILBOX AND DOG OPENED FENCE THAT CONTAINED THE DOG AND RAN OUT BETWEEN US. SUPERVISOR TRIED TO INTERVENE AND TRIPPED AND FELL. THE DOG BIT THE CARRIER IN THE REAR RIGHT CALF MUSCLE.
