According to the carrier he had delivered a letter to the store on the southeast corner of [REDACTED]. He also stated he was crossing in the crosswalk to go to the west side of the [REDACTED] when the vehicle ran over his foot.

At [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] city [REDACTED] contacted his immediate supervisor. He stated that a car had run over his foot as he was attempting to cross the street. And that the car had a stop sign but they didn 't stop. He said the car rolled over his foot and that the driver then tried to drive forward and backed up and then went forward again. He said it was a black SUV with an older couple driving the car. He said they then drove away without talking to him. On his paperwork the carrier states the accident happened at about [REDACTED]. However he called the supervisor at [REDACTED]. He also left the area where the accident had occurred. He did not call [REDACTED]. When the supervisors and Postmaster arrived on the scene the police were notified.
