Employee called the Carrier Hotline to report that she had been injured on the job. She explained to me that as she was lifting a heavy package and she had felt a sharp pain in her knee. I asked her if she needed medical attention to which she replied yes and that she thinks she might need an X-Ray because she was in a lot of pain. The employee then drove back to the post office and was sent to the hospital for a doctor evaluation.
