Delivering mail door to door

On [REDACTED] [REDACTED] [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED]:40[REDACTED] City Carrier was delivering mail to [REDACTED]. After she delivered the mail she turned and walked down the snow covered steps from the door and she slipped and fell twisting her right ankle. She called it in and I told her to stay there I was on my way to her. When I arrived she had continued to deliver. She was wearing snow boots with grippers on them. She said she had some pain but felt like she would be able to walk it off. I asked her if she wanted to go to the Doctor to have it checked and she said no she wanted to continue. I explained to her she could be causing further possible injury and asked if she was sure she didn’t want to get it checked and she said no she was going to take a break and wrap it. She continued her route returned to the office and went home. She called out sick the next day (the [REDACTED]) and was scheduled to be on Military Leave for the remainder of the week and the follo
