moving mail

I injured my pinky finger delivering mail on [REDACTED] at [REDACTED]. I jammed my pinky finger and felt some pain and didn 't think that it was serious and only realized the extent of the injury until i removed my rubber gloves when I was almost finished my assignment and saw that my finger was bent in a right angle. When I came back I showed my supervisor - and my manager - my finger on what had happened. Ms. asked if I would like to make a report. It was after [REDACTED] and late at night. I told her that I was not filing a statement and seeking medical attention at the present time. My finger was still bent the [REDACTED] and i went to Urgent care to have a medical professional examine my finger. I was unloading 5-6 heavy flat tubs onto my hand truck and jammed pink finger into the bins.
