Employee loading the mail from the bottom of GPC. While trying to closed the cage if got stuck when employee was trying to push it in.
What happened
Employee stated that at approximately [REDACTED] that she was working on DBCS#17 and working out of a shelf cage. She was trying to push in the gate on the bottom shelf. She stated that she pulled the gate out and pushed it back in when her left hand was struck between the bottom shelf and gate. This caused swelling and bleeding to the left hand.
