Carrier was walking up stairs to deliver mail when the accident happened
What happened
delivering mail at [REDACTED] when I accidentally tripped up the stairs. To catch my fall I landed on my left hand. This happened at around [REDACTED]. I did not inform management immediately. I just shook off the pain and continued to deliver the last part of my route. I returned back to my station at [REDACTED] and informed management my left hand is not swollen but it extremely achy.
