On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] city carrier had called off sick in the morning and then came into the Lancaster Carrier Annex to report that she had injured herself the previous day [REDACTED] at around [REDACTED]. She stated that she had hurt her ankle. In her written statement she claimed that she had been at [REDACTED] in the parking lot and that as she was walking back to her vehicle she stepped in a pothole that she did not see and fell twisting her ankle. She claimed she had trouble getting up but eventually did. She claimed that it hurt but hoped it wasn’t serious. She felt she needed to get her route done as she didn’t want to cause trouble for her supervisors so she did not report it to anyone.
