delivering mail

At [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] [REDACTED] called me stating her vehicle was smoking and had a strong smell of carbon monoxide. Then [REDACTED] stated that someone on the side of her told her they saw some flames coming from the truck. So the carrier got off the phone with me and proceeded to call [REDACTED]. I then called the manager of the station to notify her of what was happening. I left to go to the scene of the accident at [REDACTED]. When I made it to the scene the firefighters where there and had already put out the fire. I again contacted the manager via face time so she could see and talk to the firefighters. The police arrived on the scene and inspected the vehicle to see if they could find the VIN number. The police couldn 't locate the VIN number so they the vehicle was towed back to the police inventory lot to further look for VIN number then will release vehicle back to Postal Service. The carrier did refuse medical attention at the time.
