What happened
On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED]. The carrier arrived at an apartment complex and dismount to service for cluster boxes. The carrier states he put the truck in park step out and walked to the back. He entered through the back of the [REDACTED] grabbed a tub of Mail stepped out of the [REDACTED]. He states he was unaware of a rock that appeared to be pulled out of a garden bed nearby. It caused him to fall backwards dropping the tub. states he braced himself for impact in doing so cause injury to the left side of his shoulder. After falling he got up and realized his foot was hurting Carrier then called his supervisor to report the accident and injury. Carrier continued to work in pain to complete the route. The carrier states the pain did not subside so he decided to seek medical attention.
