Had delivered package to customer and was walking back to vehicle.
What happened
City carrier was bit in the back of the left by dog on customers premises while walking away from customer. City carrier was delivering on the [REDACTED] part of their route around [REDACTED]. They pulled up to the residence of [REDACTED] to deliver a package as she was approaching the door the customer was coming out the door. Carrier greeted the customer as she held the screen door opened and carrier handed her the package and began to walk back to the truck. Carrier heard the dogs barking then heard the customer shout no. Then carrier felt a burning sensation on the back of her leg she turned around to see the dog made it out the door as the customer was trying to get a hold of the dog carrier stood still so it wouldn’t come back toward me after she got ahold of the dog carrier stated to her I think he bit me she stated no he probably just hit you really hard. I stood there in shock by her response and proceeded to walk back to my truck with my leg stinging. Carrier couldn&rsq
