On [REDACTED] City carrier texted supervisor [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] that a customer just backed out of there driveway and backed into him. The weather was Sunny and clear. He sent pictures of the Metris and POV we could not see any damage from the picture he sent. We told him to stay at the scene we are coming to investigate. He said the customer was late for an appointment and already left the scene and he was on his way back to go to Patient First. He failed to follow orders to stay at the scene. He returned to the office and we investaged what we could. He went to patient first and returned with medical documentation. Damage to the GOV Vehicle is minor scratches on drivers ' side back bumper. POV has minor scratches on drivers ' side back bumper. I went to the homeowners address today at [REDACTED]. Customer answered the door I asked if she was aware that the white car in the driveway hit a mail carrier vehicle yesterday backing out of the driveway and she said yes that was me. S
