Waiting up in the scissor lift to receive the stair stringer from the other ironworker.

Employees were installing stringers from a scissor lift and one employee was feeding the material from the catwalk. A chainfall was rigged up to lift the stair stringer into place and after they hoisted the stringer they realized it wasn 't high enough to clear the catwalk handrail that 's when the other employee started prying the bottom of the stringer that was in contact with the middle section of the handrail. When the bottom finally cleared the top of the handrail the stringer went out of control and swung pinching the injured employee 's left forearm between the stringer and the top rail of the scissor lift.
