What happened

Finished my visit with my patient on leaving there were winter storm snow on the steps that exist patient building . wanted to step down the steps i slipped while trying to protect my head and my nursing bag that has my Northwell i landed on my knee. . i hit my right knee at the edge of the stairs . i felt pain but not as much as. so i called my supervisor and continued with my visit . was at the 3rd patient house the pain became so intense and unbearable I called back my supervisor and told her she asked me to go to the the nearest GOhealth center for care . I saw a provider that states that it might be a meniscus tear . gave me motrin and ice packs that helped to reduce the inflammation he referred me to an orthopedic doctor
