Before the incident
I was performing a nasal in office procedure and performing local anesthesia.
What happened
After injecting the patient 's nasal cavity with 1: lidocaine with 1:100000 epinephrine in a 10 cc syringe with a 27 gauge needle I accidentally stuck my left thumb with the needle. There was no immediate bleeding but this occurred with pressure.
