Milking cows in the parlor which includes treating cows with iodine spray after milking wiping down udders prior to milking and placing milking unit onto cow.
What happened
Cow was backing out of the holding area in the parlor and the cows leg got caught on the gate. Employee attempted to assist cow (from the pit versus the cow area) by pulling on the leg to remove from the gate. The cow kicked and struck employee in the mouth.
