Associate was performing normal daily maintenance tasks. On this day the Associate was installing heat trace wire for cooling tower piping prior to the event.

Associate was stepping off steel support for the cooling tower and landed on the roof then subsequently turned ankle lost balance which caused him to brace himself on the exhaust fan curb flashing roof metal which cut his left pinky finger.

Associate mis-stepped having contact with causing laceration to left pinky finger on roof flashing.
