What happened
Employee was cutting a piece of Velcro with the splinting scissors while fabricating an orthosis for a patient and the tip of the scissors cut a piece of left small finger skin off. Employee was bleeding so wrapped it with Band-Aids and gauze and went to OUC upstairs. Gauze and silver nitrate were used to stop the bleeding.
