Before the incident
Employee was trying to turn a round shaft using a turning bar. They step on part of the equipment that was elevated about 24 inches off the ground. As they turned the shaft with the turning bar employee slipped and fall to the ground.
What happened
When the employee fell they struck their elbow and side of their torse on a shaft that was staged in the area. A superficial laceration was noted on their elbow. The following morning employee was retrieving their lunch box from their car and sneezed. As they sneezed they fell a pop and immediately fell pain. Employee was then taken to the ER for further evaluation.
