Employee was having a robust conversation with another employee prior to beginning the clean up phase for the day.

Employee turned on the valve that dispenses acetone. The hose was not secured and started flinging spraying out of control. The employee was able to gain control of the hose but was sprayed during the process. The employee did not check to make certain the hose was secured prior to turning on the valve.

Injuries were to the eyes scalp head and chest area. Those parts of the body had been sprayed with acetone.
