Before the incident
Observing student with patient; student was at the bedside and I was sitting by the window sill with my arm resting on the window sill; after 5-10 minutes my arm was feeling hot; at the end of the session went into the hallway; my arm had welts redness.
What happened
while sitting in a patient room I rested my right arm on the aluminum window sill. after 10 minutes the sensation of heat on my forearm and bicep began leading to redness and welts all over the inner part of this arm. [REDACTED] and RH mgr notified.
