Before the incident
Using 4 inch grinder with a 1 16 wafer wheel cutting 3 16 metal the grinder snagged and kicked out hitting his left index finger gloves were on at the time of injury
What happened
Grinder kicked out and struck the tip of the left index finger causing a deep jagged laceration necessitating further medical care. Sutures and day off work given at ER. A tetanus booster was also admnisterd during ER visit.
