Before the incident

Teammate was using a pneumatic nail gun to build crate using 2 x 4 's for the purpose of shipping 40-foot panels.

What happened

Teammate placed his left hand on the board he was nailing to so he could support the 2 boards to nail them together at the corner. When the teammate engaged the nail gun the nail hit a knot in the wood turned upward and ricocheted out of the wood and the nail puncture his left hand.
