Before the incident
Walking
What happened
[REDACTED] was walking across the ticket counter when her foot was caught on the corner of the floor mat. At the time there were two mats (one on top of another). When her foot was caught on the mat this caused her left foot to hit the top of her right foot near her big toe. After that she proceeded to the gates to work her flight. She did not fall but later noticed her foot began to swell. By the time she was done with her flight the employee claims it became difficult to walk. She then notified the station manager and provided a statement of the incident. She attempted to remedy the situation with ice on her foot and took OTC pain relivers (2- [REDACTED]). The employee claims her pain level was at a 9 10 and insisted on seeing a doctor.
