What happened
employee reports - Taking home a pt after they were discharged from the hospital. Pt 's home was a split level single family home. To get the pt inside we had to use a stairchair device up 6 stone stairs and then 8 additional inside much smaller carpeted steps that were difficult to step up backwards whilst carrying a pt. Top provider had to go up nearly sideways and pull from my right side to ensure no one fell or was dropped. Afterwards my middle back was radiating pain up into my left shoulder blade and down my flanks.
