Approaching home where regularly reads meters.
What happened
Account is flagged for dog. Shook fence and nothing was said nor was there indication of a dog present. Announced myself as entered yard and after a couple of steps dog came from the back side of house. Had dog stick which dog lunged at. Babysitter at house ran between me and dog trying to make sure dog did not bite me. Dog stick was knocked out of my hand and when I attempted to retrieve stick dog got the tip of my finger.
