Concrete Pour Holding pump hose to fill wheel barrel

Employee was holding the concrete pump hose over wheel barrel to ensure all the grout used to prime the pump hose was free of the grout. The concrete started to come out of the hose and then stopped. The pump truck was still running building up pressure and a blast of air came out the hose causing the hose to strick the employee on his head knocking him to the ground.

Lacerations to his eyebrow forehead and bridge of his nose.
