transferring blood from a green tube to a needle with syringe. The needle had punctured the green tube top and blood had been expelled in the syringe. More blood was needed so the needle was reinserted into the green tube and when the assistant was pulling out the needle from the green tube it slipped and punctured her LT 2nd finger at the location between the MP joint and the PIP joint. The finger did bleed after the needle stick.
