working

[REDACTED] was working on filling an anodizing basket with WIP. This basket is made entirely from stainless steel bars and mesh. This was a non-standard operation and [REDACTED] was filling this basket on the side of an aisle way. A forklift was coming around the corner with a longer skid requiring [REDACTED] to move the basket out of the way. In the haste to move this quickly so the forklift could pass [REDACTED] moved the basket by grabbing onto the basket instead of the designated handle. As he grabbed onto the side of the basket his left index finger was lacerated by a piece of metal mesh that had broken its tack welds and come loose from the baskets lid.
