Before the incident
Employee was preparing to weld a corner enclosure section while wearing all appropriate weld PPE. There was too much weld wire protruding from the weld gun nozzle when starting the weld process.

Weld wire broke and a length was protruding from the weld. Employee tried to grab wire with gloved hand instead of using the appropriate tool and the wire poked through the weld glove.
