At approximately [REDACTED] an employee was stuck by a broken chunk of 2x4 lumber roughly 4 long The employee was picking up a broken chunk of wood at the bad board drop out box when another chunk came down the drop out belt and bounced out of the bunk striking the employee across the shoulders and back of their neck The employee immediately notified the shift lead The employee was transported to the hospital for further evaluation where they were adviced to rest and ice
