What happened
Driver was driving [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] when he slowed down for traffic congestion. He turned on his hazard lights but the semi behind him did not slowdown in time and tried to avoid our driver by swerving right but impacted with the driver 's side rear end of the trailer pushing the trailer and tractor towards the jersey barriers on the driver 's passenger side. Our driver sustained whip lash and was taken to the nearest hospital for examination and treatment. No severe injuries were sustained aside from whip lash and he was dispensed pain medication and excused 3 days from work.
