What happened
Employee was attempting to close the railcar hopper door closure solenoid. As the employee reached into the area to depress the actuator the train started to drift due to slack in the knuckles. Employee attempted to remove their hand from the area before the train reached a close clearance area but their jacket sleeve became snagged on a jagged piece of metal on the CN railcar frame before they could remove their hand.
