What happened
I was helping patient with bed mobility. I was working in inpatient physical therapy and I reached across the bed with my right hand to assist patient 's right hand to left bed rail to help him roll to edge of bed. He could not reach the bed rail so he just pulled on my right arm. I Felt a strain in the right shoulder but it did not hurt at the time. Throughout night I was having difficulty laying on the right side and by morning had difficulty moving my right arm. I worked in outpatient today but just made accommodations to not use my right arm as much. Pain is occurring now at rest and with movement.
