Before the incident
Employee had lowered a bucket containing his tools to the ground from the platform. The employee had been servicing the evaporative coolers on the roof.
What happened
As the employee positioned himself on the ladder he moved down two rungs in order to pull the hatch door closed sealing access to the roof. As he pulled the hatch closed the bicep muscle tore from his scapula and his rotator cuff was torn as well.
