Before the incident
Employee was scooping out salt from an ingredient bin in the Make Up area for one of his handsets.
What happened
The salt was pretty low in the bin causing the employee to have to reach and bend in order to scoop the salt. Employee made a motion of opening the lid while reaching in the bin concurrently. While he was reaching into the bin the lid bounced off of the stainless steel table that sits above the ingredient bins bouncing off and back into his face. The lid of the bin struck his left cheek and caused a laceration which began bleeding slightly. First aid was provided.
