A recycling associate was in the process of changing an empty propane to a full propane tank. The associate connected the hose from the forklift into the valve of the full propane tank and did not noticed the valve was still open. Gas sprayed onto the associates right hand and through their gloves causing a flash burn to the associate s right hand.
