What happened
Associate was working on the Plunger Oil Seal machine says plunger oil seal missed the skewer which fell between the machine wall and base slab. She said this caused the machine to fault so she stuck her left hand in to flick the part out so she could get it. The pneumatic base moved forward striking her left index finger. She removed her hand from her glove and moderate bleeding was found. She reported to the clinic and after cleansing the wound an approximate 2.4cm laceration was noted to the pad of the injured finger. The laceration required sutures to close.
