What happened
Employee stated at approximately [REDACTED] Employee was unwrapping a bundle of long-stemmed (farmer roses) on the sales floor by the designated rose pod spot. The roses were tightly wrapped with cardboard tissue paper and sealed with staples. While unwrapping the cardboard Employee was handling the bottom portion and pulling the material towards her body. During this action a staple on the bottom of the cardboard caught her on her left hand cutting her between her thumb and index finger.
