Employee states other employee and I were moving u carts out of the way to get the big ladder so other employee could get up top of storage area to view our supplies. When I moved the u cart my left hand was smashed between the u cart and the commercial bread racks. My hand hurt like crazy but I kept working. It was very purple and scraped along my pinky and index finger. I think I was just in shock. I wasn 't worried about it that day but the [REDACTED] it was bruised and swollen. I went to urgent care who advised I be out of work to rest my hand until [REDACTED].
