Medical Care procedure

Provider was removing a patient 's Nexplanon. During the procedure provider made and incision in patient 's arm retracted the scalpel and had it in her palm. When she went to make a revision to the incision and extracted the blade it cut her right hand as the blade was in her hand pointing inward not outward. This occurred after it had been used on the patient. Provider had a visible cut through glove and her hand was bleeding.
