What happened
I felt fine upon arriving to my work. I carried a patient food tray to place it in the food cart. I bent over to put the tray in cart and when I tried to straighten back up it became very painful and I was not able to straighten my back. I had trouble wa lking down the hallway to the nurse 's station. When I arrived at the nurse 's station I had to slowly lower myself into a chair. After lowering myself into the chair a nurse retrieved some Ibuprofen for me and another staff gave me a heat pack to place o n my Lower back.
