What happened
Employee a shipper receiver at the CFC reported an incident on [REDACTED] at [REDACTED]. While loading a box onto a pallet using a guide by wire order picker they felt a sharp pain in their lower right back while removing a 21-pound box from shelf H at chest height. The pain intensified with every bump while driving the load picker to the staging area. Immediately reporting the incident to their supervisor and the EHS analyst the employee requested and received medical attention for their back pain. The doctor prescribed a steroid muscle relaxer and two weeks of light duty prohibiting them from lifting anything over five pounds.
