Employee was in her home unit of same day surgery when she heard and observed through the doors of the behavior health unit a patient yelling and screaming at BHU staff. Employee observed this aggressive pt forcefully enter into the nursing station following the BHU tech. Employee called a code green overhead and entered the BHU unit with another staff member to help intervene.

Employee assisted the other staff in getting the pt out of the nursing station and was able to close the nursing station door. I approached the patient as he was assaulting another employee to help intervene when the patient pushed me out of the way I began to fall and caught myself with my right hand wrist causing sharp paint to my wrist.
