What happened
Associate was performing job which includes reaching in boxes to drag out individual (small) components with left hand on left hand side of station and same for right hand side of station but different components. From the left and the right parts are assembled together in the middle of station. Upon preparing to reach into the box on the left side the associate noticed a spider inside box with components. The associate grabbed the spider using her bare left hand and threw spider in the floor and then stepped on it. Then continued to work normally.
